Southern California Keeshond Rescue, Inc. (SCKR) operates as a 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation in the Southern California area. The primary purpose of SCKR is to rescue homeless Keeshond dogs, provide the dogs with safe, temporary foster care, and find new permanent homes for them with responsible qualified owners. Keeshond dogs entering our rescue program are subject to temperament assessment and veterinary evaluation prior to permanent adoption on a lifetime contract. We provide treatment for known medical problems.
