About Us
Southern Comforts is a Texas based rescue group dedicated to saving dogs from local kill shelters and random strays, rehabilitating them both socially and medically. Adoption fees do not cover those that have more medically complex problems; broken limbs, serious skin issues, dental disease, seniors, and those that have suffered abuse and neglect. They are placed into foster homes where they are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed, heartworm tested and treated, if found to be positive. While in foster care they are house, crate and leash trained, in addition to both routine and specialty vetting. Your generous donations are what keeps this all- volunteer organization...
