About Us
Since 1983 SpokAnimal has supported the animals of our community. We started as a municipal animal control agency contractor and in 2014, transitioned to operate as a humane society. In 2010, a bequest from Dorothy Clark allowed us to build a new low cost spay/neuter clinic and expand our surgery and walk-in clinic services for the community. We’ve expanded our adoption outreach through partnerships with PetSmart Charities and Petco, and most recently, the Kitty Cantina — the city’s first café where patrons can mingle with SpokAnimal kitties! We initiated our own Cruisin’ Critters Transport program and aligned with Wings of Rescue and Dog is My Copilot to rescue more animals from overcrowded shelters around the country. Last year, those efforts saved over 2,200 pets. We are here to give animals the second chance they deserve!Find Us
