About Us
Stand Up For Animals (SUFA) is an independent 501c3 non-profit organization that provides assistance to animals and families in our local community. We sponsor humane education to local school-aged children, support spay, neuter release colonies (TNR), assist families with pet emergencies, partner with the Town of Westerly's municipal animal shelter to provide a weekly low-cost clinic and provide support for animals that require training to provide them with every opportunity to succeed when they are placed in their forever home. We strive to ensure that every animal is treated with compassion and to assist those who care for them.
