About Us
Stone County Humane Society, Inc. is a 501 (c)3 organization created in 1999 with the goal of building an animal shelter for dogs and cats in Stone County, AR. We completed that goal in August 2016 with the opening of our new 3,000 sf shelter building. Our organization is managed by a 10 member board and we have 3 part-time paid employees and one full-time shelter manager who help feed and care for the animals. We are located at 17379 Hwy 9, Mountain View, AR 72560. We have limited space but we do not euthanize to make room for another animal.
