About Us
The Animal Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cat rescue and adoption group in New York City. It has been run by Carol Moon and volunteers for over 15 years. We are dedicated to finding wonderful homes for cats and kittens in need. In 2023 alone, we helped find permanent homes for over 150 cats! We also spay/neuter close to 360 cats every year! You can find us every Saturday at our adoption event at the Petco on 92/Bway from 2-6p.Our Adoption Process
A $150 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, shots, FeLV & FIV tests, and de-worming before your cute adoptable comes to your home.
