Our organization is committed to keeping rabbits safe, happy, and healthy while they wait to be placed in a forever home.
When Virginia and I met we were both volunteering for rescues out of town and transporting bunnies out of Kingbsburg to the most local rescue (closest being 3hrs away).
Being bunny owners and rescue volunteers we began to realize that there were many problems in the adoption and rescue world.
With overpopulation, rabbits being abandoned or dumped, lack of knowledge of rabbit care.
It was at this point that Virginia and I teamed up and made the decision to answer the call.
In the realization of the need in Fresno County, we created The Bunny Trail Rescue in April of 2021.
We still transport rabbits to the bay area as we do not have enough vet support in Fresno County to keep up with all of our spays or neuters.
