About Us

The Grateful Dog Haven, Inc. is a 501c3 Non Profit organization devoted to the rescue and rehabilitation of needy dogs in Palm Beach county and the surrounding areas. We believe in second (or third, or fourth) chances for dogs who are sick, injured, neglected, abandoned, or otherwise at risk. Our mission is to see as many dogs as we can through their dark days and to help them turn on their love lights...and let them SHINE! We have learned that combined with proper medical care and necessary training, love and patience can go a long way when it comes to our four-legged friends. We believe that rescue dogs are the most grateful people in the world (yes, dogs are people too) when they are allowed to be what they are truly meant to be; loved and cherished family members.
