About Us
The Kittery was founded in 2019 to fill an urgent need in an underserved part of rural Central Texas. Our cats & kittens include strays & abandoned/abused cats from other shelters, city impounds & local residents who cannot afford their care – cats that would have otherwise been euthanized or worse. Our mission is to save as many of them as we can – through fostering, adoption & prevention.
