We are feeding street cats in San Mateo, while trying to find them secure homes. We seek to trap those which have not yet been spayed/neutered, and bring them to our Veterinarian, who spays/neuters, provides vaccinations, blood tests, and inserts a microchip. We then return them to the streets. Naturally, we would prefer to find them a happy home, but many are feral, and it takes patience to domesticate a feral cat. Nonetheless, experienced cat caretakers have the knowledge needed to gradually transition some cats from feral to domesticated.
