About Us
The Oasis mission is to relieve the suffering of abused, neglected and homeless companion animals, horses, and other pets by adhering to its “Five Initiatives”:
1. Intake of animals from the general public and from other shelters in dire need of assistance;
2. a spay and neuter assistance program for people who need financial assistance with having their pets sterilized. Additionally, all adoptable animals are sterilized prior to adoption;
3. an education program to enlighten the public on the plight of homeless animals;
4. work with local animal welfare agencies that legally confiscate abused horses and other farm animals; and
5. to provide a permanent, loving home to as many as possible, for those too old, sick, or traumatized to be adopted, fostered, or relocated.
