About Us
Thompson Tails Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization 501 (c)(3) that provides a foster based program to rescue German Shepherd and high-mix dogs from shelters, where they are at a high risk of being euthanized. We provide an owner referral program that works with owners who need to find a new home for their dog. Many of our K-9s will be trained and added into our therapy program which will visit nursing homes and hospitals. Our shepherds provide the needed comfort, emotional and support therapy to residents and patients. We are currently developing a program which will use our handicapped dogs to help eliminate the hateful bullying so many youngsters experience in our schools today.One day w...Find Us
