The Watonwan County Humane Society was formed in 1997. We rehome 200-250 animals per year. Puppies and dogs and kittens and cats come to us as strays, owner surrenders, and occasionally from seizures. Caring for this many animals requires a large volunteer base. We are fortunate to have some wonderful volunteers that give generously of their time but volunteers are always needed. We are located at the northeast corner of St. James, on the east end of Weston Avenue within the water treatment facility. Open hours are 8-10 am 7 days a week.
