Wellie's Wish Dog Rescue is committed to rescuing dogs from harmful and neglect situations as well as from over crowded local shelters, and owner surrenders, providing safe foster homes, medical care, and rehabilitation. The goal is to match dogs with the right adopters, and educate applicants about rescue and responsible pet ownership. We believe that every dog — no matter their age, their health, or their history — deserves the chance to live a full life surrounded by love. Founded in 2026 and based in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Wellie’s Wish Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the greater Philadelphia area and five surrounding counties.
