Our organization is committed to keeping pets safe, happy and healthy while they wait to be placed in a forever home. Western Illinois Animal Rescue, Inc. (WIAR) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We were founded in 2000 by a group of caring citizens from Warren County, Illinois who wanted to help animals in need. WIAR is a “NO KILL” organization. We do not euthanize any of the animals in our care unless it is medically our only option.
