About Us
Yappy Tails Animal Rescue, Inc., is an ALL volunteer-based 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue, dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs from overcrowded shelters. Yappy Tails is a rescue, not a shelter, and as such we do not have our dogs housed in one location – they are in foster homes both in Connecticut & with our southern rescue partners. Founded in 2018, we are committed to rescuing, caring for, and adopting homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. Working with our southern rescue partners, we place our animals into temporary foster homes where they are socialized, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and treated for any medical or behavioral conditions limiting their adoptability.
