About Us

You Lucky Dog Rescue is an all volunteer IRC 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of homeless and abandoned dogs from the high-kill shelters of North Georgia. All dogs are welcome at You Lucky Dog Rescue. We are not a breed specific rescue and accept dogs of all breeds and ages. You Lucky Dog Rescue provides our rescue dogs the utmost quality of veterinary care (exam, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip). Through the generosity of our supporters, we are able to take on difficult medical cases such as dogs in need of orthopedic surgeries, heartworm treatment and and treatment for other serious medical issues.
