About Us
Del Gato Rescue is a foster-based, volunteer run 501c3 nonprofit based in Los Angeles, CA. Our mission is to prevent cats on the streets from ending up at local high kill shelters where their chance of being euthanized is high. We rescue homeless, abandoned, sick/injured community cats directly from the streets, rehabilitate them medically, place them into our trusted network of foster homes, and find them permanent loving homes. We also TNR feral cats in Hollywood/West Hollywood. In 2024 we rescued 280 cats off the streets and had 216 adoptions. In 2023 we rescued 220 cats off the streets and had 80 adoptions.
