FFOCAS serves as a safety net for the homeless pets of Frederick County, Maryland. We achieve our mission by:
(1) fundraising to cover the costs of veterinary procedures needed by pets residing at our county's only open-admission animal shelter, Frederick County Animal Control
(2) rescuing cats and kittens who are falling through the cracks -- those other rescues cannot take in and those who may not do well at the shelter
(3) helping families keep their pets or, if necessary, safely rehome them
Our rescue program works closely with the county shelter's barn cat program, Barn Cat Buddies, which saves hundreds of kitties each year who are not suited to an indoor-only lifestyle. Your donations...
