Here at Smoky Mountain Humane Society, we are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) with a 2026 Platinum Seal from Candid.org. We are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all of the animals of Cocke County, TN. Being a no-kill animal rescue in our county is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a pawsitive impact because we are very committed to this cause. We strive to build productive relationships to make pawsitive changes in the lives of every animal in our care and county. Our Shelter is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We are working on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of the animals in our care, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make.
