About Us
Hidden Gems was created with one mission: to give every cat the opportunity to be seen, loved, and valued no matter their age, background, medical needs, or personality. From tiny kittens to shy adults, we believe every life matters and every hidden gem deserves the chance to shine. Based on Long Island, we work with local communities, shelters, fosters, and fellow rescuers to help save cats in need while creating space for others still waiting for help. We also occasionally partner with southern rescues to pull cats from overcrowded shelters where time is running out. This rescue is built on compassion, patience, and the belief that no animal should ever be disposable.Find Us

Go to our website and complete an application to adopt! Our adoption fee is $200, and all cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on all shots, and dewormed.
