About Us

Pay It Fur-Ward is a grassroots outreach project dedicated to supporting homeless individuals and their beloved pets. Founded by Amanda and Josh, a husband-and-wife first responder transplant couple from New York, our mission is to provide essential supplies, food, and care to help both people and their furry companions through the challenges of daily life. But our work goes beyond handing out resources — we are advocates for those we serve. Whenever, wherever, and however we can, we use our voices to stand up for the dignity and humanity of people experiencing homelessness and the bond they share with their pets. With the generosity of our donors, we’re able to meet basic needs, bring comfort, and remind our neighbors that no one — human or animal — should ever be forgotten. Together, we’re building a kinder community, one act of compassion at a time.
