Every day in Western North Carolina, dogs and cats are abandoned, misplaced, or separated from their families, leaving them frightened, and alone. At Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation, we exist to change that story. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless animals and strengthen the bond between people and their pets by providing safe shelter, compassionate care, and access to critical resources. We meet animals in their most vulnerable moments—injured, neglected, alone, or simply unwanted—and help them heal physically and emotionally so they can thrive in loving homes. We also stand beside families by offering low-cost veterinary services, spay/neuter programs, vaccines, microchips, and a community pet food pantry, ensuring no animal suffers because a family faces hardship.Find Us
