About Us
Second Sunrise Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue serving El Paso County, Texas. We believe every dog deserves the chance to see a new day and find a safe, loving home. Our foster-based rescue takes in dogs and puppies who are abused, abandoned, neglected, or at risk in local shelters, including animals needing medical care, rehabilitation, and extra time to heal. Through our dedicated foster families and volunteers, we provide veterinary care, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, microchips, food, training, socialization, and lots of love while each dog waits for the right family. We also work within our community to promote responsible pet ownership, adoption, and compassion for animals in need. At Second Sunrise Rescue, we do more than save dogs. We give them the opportunity for a fresh start, a second chance, and their Second Sunrise.Find Us
