About Us
South Carolina Community Cat Project is a foster-based, no-kill, 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue serving Spartanburg County, Cherokee County, Greenville County, and surrounding areas of Upstate South Carolina. Founded on the belief that every cat deserves a chance, we focus on helping the cats who are often overlooked—abandoned pets, orphaned kittens, injured cats, underweight kittens, and cats with medical needs. As a foster-based rescue, we do not operate a shelter facility. Instead, our cats are cared for in dedicated foster homes where they receive individualized attention, medical care, socialization, and love while they await adoption.
