Sunshine's Friends Cat and Dog Rescue serves central Maryland. Our Mission (“the 5 R's") is to: • RESCUE abandoned community cats and dogs in desperate situations; • REHABILITATE sick, injured, and abused animals; • REHOME cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies ready for permanent placement with suitable guardians; • provide a loving REFUGE for cats and dogs that are not adopted; and • REDUCE local shelter cat intake and euthanasia by promoting spaying/ neutering and providing assistance to pet guardians.Find Us

Our Adoption Process
We take applications and review them. We have adopters meet our dogs/cats and our staff. We have an adoption contract to sign. Our adoption fees are usually $150 (cats) / $200 (dogs) which includes vet fees for spay/neuter and vaccinations.
