About Us
TAILS is an all-volunteer, 501c3 (tax exempt) organization dedicated to the spay/neuter of dogs and cats to end the needless euthanasia of pet animals. We are a stand-alone group and get all of our funding and donations from through the generosity of our community of Fairfield County, CT. Each year we spay/neuter approximately 550 dogs and cats - the vast majority of these being feral cats. We are trying to stop the birth of kittens on the streets humanely - by spaying and neutering. Kittens and friendly "dumped" cats we put through our adoption program and feral cats who are no longer able to return to their original location are placed through our barn (working cat) program.
