WWR was founded in 2025 to fill a gap in the DMV rescue community by focusing on middle-aged & senior bully breeds at the Prince George's County Animal Shelter - one of the last localities across the United States with active breed specific legislation. At Wiggles Way Rescue, we are committed to fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability.
